Journey to Target

I am always amazed by Target’s skill to get millennials like myself to have an urge to make impulsive purchases as if there is a gravitational pull from the store right when you walk in. As a visual designer, I wanted to express this urge to spend through visual techniques. This short original narrative is lead by exaggerated perspectives, warped proportions, and the overwhelming amount of the color red to communicate the struggles of our character to resist the temptations of Target.

To map out ideas, sketches were done to further develop the look of the character as well as the development of personifying Target by testing out various camera angles and compositions.
C4D
C4D was used as the foundation of many scenes to push perspectives to bring drama and comedic quality to this light-hearted narrative.
