Brand Identity | Visual Communication
Streaming services have been on the rise. Amazon Prime Video offers streaming services similar to its competitors and more. However, Amazon Prime began to have a confusing identity. Under Amazon, Prime provided both shipping and streaming service. In this visual identity system, I wanted to give Amazon Prime Video a new voice as Prime. A challenge that I faced and was able to accomplish was to create an identity system that branches out of a big corporate voice to one that is unique to Prime, the streaming service.
LOGO
There are three shapes within the logo. The first is the indication of the letter P for Prime. The second is the hourglass icon to symbolize the endless enjoyment while using Prime. The third is the triangle that makes up the play button. The two triangles that interlock is also symbolic of the relationship between the viewers and Prime.

The variety of services provided by Prime are different formats of stories. When using Prime, the audience will be able to unravel stories that await them. This tagline also pays homage to Amazon, where it all started.
